MIAGAO, Iloilo — The University of the Philippines Visayas Office of Student Affairs (UPV-OSA) gave an orientation to 144 incoming students and transferees of the University, together with 272 parents and guardians last 15 August at the UPV Covered Court, Miagao campus. The orientation delved on the academic policies, services at the Health Services Unit, dormitories, scholarships and financial assistance, and student-initiated events. Meanwhile, parents and guardians were presented with an overview of UPV’s existing policies and programs.
UPV-OSA emphasized the importance of the orientation program as it provides vital information for incoming first-year students and transferees on how to navigate the challenges and opportunities for growth in UP.
