NEWS | UP NISMED develops Rapid Mathematics Assessment toolkits for DepEd’s National Mathematics Program

QUEZON City —  A team from UP NISMED staff developed Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA) toolkits for grades 1, 2, and 3, in support of Department of Education’s (DepEd) National Mathematics Program. The program aims to develop RMA toolkits for kindergarten to grade 3, grades 4 to 6, and grades 7 to 10. A toolkit contains a Teacher’s Booklet, a Learner’s Booklet, and a Learner’s Scoring Sheet. The toolkits will used for DepEd’s Summer Learning Camp on 17 July.

The NISMED team was composed of Dr. Aida I. Yap, Ms. Edna G. Callanta, Ms. Dana M. Ong, and Mr. Aldrin O. Nazareno of the Elementary School Mathematics (ESM) Group, Ms. Haidee P. Rosete of the High School Mathematics (HSM) Group, and Dr. Monalisa T. Sasing of the Information Science Group and the Deputy Director for Research and Extension.
