BATANGAS CITY, Philippines — The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) and the University of Batangas Distance Education (UBDE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 11 September at the University of Batangas, Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City. The activity highlights the partnership between the two parties and the launch of the UBDE Distance Learners Application.
The MoU outlines joint academic activities for research and training, student and staff exchange programs, the establishment of dual or joint degree programs, consultancy and other technical services on quality assurance, learning materials development, student and faculty support, open educational resources, resource and information sharing, and other activities between the two institutions.
The activity is part of UPOU’s initiatives in exploring cooperation and linkages with local and international institutions.
