NEWS | Partido State University officials visits UP Diliman for possible academic, research, and extension collaborations

DILIMAN, Quezon City — Partido State University (ParSU) officials visits UP Diliman (UPD) for possible academic, research, and extension collaborations.

 

Last 20 June, officials from both universities discussed different areas of partnership that aim “to boost ParSU’s program offerings, introduce research and extension program innovations [..] and enhance faculty competencies.” Specific areas for collaboration were also identified: reading comprehension skills enhancement of elementary school students in the Fourth District of Camarines Sur; module sharing in physics, geology, civil engineering and other academic programs; potential UPD programs at ParSU; visiting professorship; and co-advising of ParSU students’ theses and dissertations.

 

Other topics are on the possible development of a joint program on fisheries and related fields through the Marine Science Institute, UPD College of Science; ParSU faculty immersion in UPD laboratories; and ParSU’s exploration to join the network of tourism observatory.
