DILIMAN, Quezon City — The University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI) held its GABAy Open House Mentoring Program, as part of its anniversary celebration, from 29-31 August. GABAy is the flagship advocacy program of UP ISSI. It aims to accelerate the growth and sustainability of MSMEs through mentoring and marketing support.
At least 42 individuals (including 18 members of the Metro Manila Vendors Alliance) sought assistance on marketing, operations, human resources, and finance. They were linked to 14 mentors from the Business Enterprise Development Division, Training and Entrepreneurship Education Division, and Research Division, UP ISSI.
