NEWS | UP Visayas, Iloilo Province discuss potential research collab

ILOILO City, Iloilo  — Representatives from the University of the Philippines Visayas met with Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr last 8 August at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol to discuss the potential collaboration of UPV in the province’s proposed research agenda.

 

UPV researchers presented existing research programs on fisheries and aquaculture, food security, health, coastal resource management, among others.

 

The research agenda of the Province of Iloilo is part of the Movement for a Robust, Progressive, Globally-Competitive, and Resilient Province of Iloilo (MorProgres Iloilo) project which aims to collaborate with the research institutions in the province to maximize the research outputs of Ilonggos for the dissemination to and utilization by constituents and stakeholders.
