MIAGAO, Iloilo — The University of the Philippines Visayas School of Technology (SOTECH) and SEPAR Environmental Corporation signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last 15 August at the New SOTECH Building, UPV, Miagao, Iloilo.
The MOA signing ceremony marks a step towards enhancing industry-academe collaboration and partnership for environmental research and innovation. This partnership is expected to facilitate further collaborations between SOTECH and SEPAR on research and development consultations, student thesis partnerships, and environmental projects through bamboo utilization.
SEPAR also announced its sponsorship of the yearly “SEPAR Best Thesis Award” exclusive to SOTECH students. The award, valued at Php 50,000, aims to recognize outstanding theses that demonstrate innovation and excellence, and contribute to the field of environmental science and technology.
