ILOILO City, Iloilo — The University of the Philippines Visayas Sentro ng Wikang Filipino (SWF) launched the SWF Library “Tarangban” at the UP Visayas Iloilo City campus on 15 August. Tarangban alludes to a cave referenced in the Sugidanon Epics of the indigenous group Suludnon or Panay-Bukidnon.
The event was attended by teachers from the Department of Education Division of Iloilo Public Elementary Schools and High Schools, Oton Municipal Social Welfare Development Office, UPV Literati, and UPV faculty, staff, and students.
