Objective:

Every quarter, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology facilitates service to its charity patients by sponsoring Blood Drives. Availability of blood components is a key life-saving component, especially in the fulfillment of the Millennium Development Goals of decreasing maternal mortality.

Quarterly, last held March 17, 2017


Target / Beneficiaries:

Charity emergency cases at the OB admitting section including, but not limited to, postpartum hemorrhage, ectopic pregnancies, abortions, and malignancies such as cervical cancer, as well as other cases received at the OB admitting section experiencing anemia from acute and chronic blood loss.
