Objective:

The lectures on genetics, population genetics, and forensics aim to provide a genetic perspective of Filipino history and origins by studying genetic variation across all Filipino groups.

It also seeks to use knowledge generated from populations genetic studies and forensic genetic studies to aid policy and legislation towards the uplifting of the national pride of the Filipino people.

Its ultimate end is to provide exemplary education and training in populations genetics and DNA forensics to different stakeholders, as well as the general public.
