The Leadership and Local Governance lecture series aims to engage former and incumbent elected local officials in sharing their experiences and views on the subject through a structured format that will enable distilling of lessons and challenges across contexts. Through this mechanism, it is hoped that the UPLB CPAf can provide the platform for meaningful exchange, continuing dialogue and action to foster academe- local government partnership as lead agent of local development.

This office seeks to encourage and strengthen teaching, research extension and advocacy on and for women in the university. It provides enlightenment on gender and development issues and concerns and undertakes sustained advocacy for gender responsive governance in the region through the synergy of government, academe, and civil society.

This training program helps participants analyze developmental situations by looking into the parameters and perspectives of how the state responds, respects, and fulfills its obligation to attain national development goals and strategies. It also aims to make them understand the processes and requirements of the different phases in planning, managing, monitoring and evaluating developmental projects. Moreover, it enhances their knowledge and skills in undertaking different feasibility studies particularly on market, technical, financial, socio-economic, environmental and organizational aspects of development.

This is a three-day seminar workshop aims to provide participants with theoretical foundations and practical experiences on the basics of early childhood or pre-school education. It also introduces the UP Child Development Center philosophy and approach, particularly the Integrated Core Curriculum, as well as other preschool philosophies and setups.
