The University of the Philippines System announced the renewal of the video conferencing services through the System Procurement Unit. The decision was made based on end-user request of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) and the consensus reached by the Presidential Advisory Committee, in consultation with the OVPAA, Office of the Vice President for Development (OVPD), Information Technology Development Center (ITDC), and the Digital Transformation Adviser.
The service contract with Zoom Communications, the current videocon provider, was renewed to ensure the continuity of the University’s video conferencing services. It is highly encourage that all functions and features of Zoom be fully utilized to support the educational and administrative needs of all university community members.
