Objective:

The Asian Journalism Research Conference seeks to nurture a culture of research in the field of Journalism by providing students and their faculty mentors with a venue to present, and engage others on their work. The program began in 2012 initially as the Philippine Journalism Research Conference.


Duration / Date:

Two-day conference, conducted annually every April


Target / Beneficiaries:

Journalism undergraduate students in the Philippines and Asia


Cost of Participation:

PhP 300 conference fee
Fee is waived if participant submits a paper that qualifies for the competition round


Office in Charge:

Journalism Department through an ad hoc committee of Journalism faculty members, with Chair as head of committee
