This training program helps participants analyze developmental situations by looking into the parameters and perspectives of how the state responds, respects, and fulfills its obligation to attain national development goals and strategies. It also aims to make them understand the processes and requirements of the different phases in planning, managing, monitoring and evaluating developmental projects. Moreover, it enhances their knowledge and skills in undertaking different feasibility studies particularly on market, technical, financial, socio-economic, environmental and organizational aspects of development.

This training aims to orient teachers on pedagogy, social sciences, Lumad situationer, and other current events.

This seminar-workshop serves as a venue to introduce and orient participants in the area of gender and development research. This can also be an opportunity to discuss possible research ideas, as well as important research questions in the field.

The training program aims to introduce the participants to the various tools and methods in the proper framing of policy problems, evidence- based solution search, and the selection of alternatives. Participants are also taught with the techniques in policy issue paper writing, as well as effective report presentation.

This is a three-day seminar workshop aims to provide participants with theoretical foundations and practical experiences on the basics of early childhood or pre-school education. It also introduces the UP Child Development Center philosophy and approach, particularly the Integrated Core Curriculum, as well as other preschool philosophies and setups.

Kagalingang Pantahanan is a radio program aired over DZUP every Monday, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. Hosted by the College of Home Economics, it aims to “keep listeners abreast with current issues that concern basic needs in life attended to at home and beyond. It also provides opportunity for the students, faculty, alumni, and staff of the College in the different sub-disciplines to share their expertise to the public,” according to Dean and program host Aurorita Roldan.

This training aims to enhance and upgrade the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the trainers of the Accredited Training Providers (ATPs) and/or prospective applicants to the CDA Accreditation Program, in conducting and managing training programs of cooperatives.

This seminar is a two- to three-hour activity conducted among high school and college students to increase their awareness of the cooperative movement. Participants are provided with basic knowledge of cooperatives. It is a part of the public service of ICOPED conducted in selected educational institutions in Los Baños and in other municipalities by request.

This training aims to introduce gender concepts, and laws related to gender and development. It seeks to identify gender issues and propose possible solutions, as well as promote gender sensitivity and gender equity.

This seminar trains teachers, researchers and students on the basic concepts and methods in ethnographic research, and the basic structures of ethnographic writing.
