This course would teach participants how to apply skills on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in specific workplaces. It also fulfills the training requirements for OHS personnel.
Through this course, participants learn the steps in using the World Health Organization’s ICD-10 as a coding tool. The course covers 26 modules, including the definition of ICD-10, benefits derived from its usage, the history of its development, its elements and structures, the general guidelines for coding, and specific instructions for coding morbidity and mortality data.
The UP PGH Department of Rehabilitation Medicine aims to provide continuing education programs for physiatrists and paramedical on the latest trends and relevant topics in the practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Topics for the past years included essentials of musculoskeletal ultrasound, vestibular rehabilitation, and workshop on gait analysis and upper extremity motion analysis system.
This course aims to introduce basic statistical analysis, including numerical data analysis, categorical data analysis, and statistical test for one and two means, variances and proportion including correlation and regression analysis, using STATA. The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics has been offering the course since 2014.

Through the conduct of trainings on development journalism, the department aims to share with students and teachers alike the basic principles of development journalism and help them apply these principles in their storytelling. Participants are encouraged to write stories of local relevance and to promote the practice of development journalism among their peers.
