Objective:

The Institute of Cooperatives and Bio-Enterprise Development (ICOPED) is a duly-accredited cooperative training provider of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA). As such, the ICOPED conducts CDA-prescribed training courses for cooperatives.

This course covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of a member of the Audit Committee in performing effectively their roles and functions and in ensuring adequate internal control in the cooperative. Participants, by the end of the course, should be able to define the roles and functions of the audit committee, and explain the elements of and implement an effective internal control and inventory system.

This course has been conducted thrice from 2011-2016.


Duration / Date:

Three days, offered continuously/regularly


Target / Beneficiaries:

Cooperative officers, specifically the audit committee. Please note that only a maximum of 30 participants can be accommodated per CDA- prescribed training.


Cost of Participation:

PhP 500 per day per participant, inclusive only of the cost of training kit and honoraria of resource persons and training staff
