Objective:
The Institute of Cooperatives and Bio-Enterprise Development (ICOPED) is a duly-accredited cooperative training provider of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA). As such, the ICOPED conducts CDA-prescribed training courses for cooperatives.
This course covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of a member of the Board of Directors and the General manager in establishing the strategic direction of the cooperative. It is expected that participants will be able to explain the need for strategic thinking and long-term planning, analyze the performance of the cooperative, and determine strategic options and strategies. Participants are also expected to develop strategic plans, and monitor the implementation of such plans, by the end of the course.
This course has been conducted twice from 2011-2016.

Three days, offered continuously/regularly
Target / Beneficiaries:
Cooperative officers, specifically the board of directors, and the general manager. Please note that only a maximum of 30 participants can be accommodated per CDA-prescribed training.
Cost of Participation:
PhP 500 per day per participant, inclusive only of the cost of training kit and honoraria of resource persons and training staff
