DILIMAN, Quezon City — The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) partnered with the University of the Philippines National Center for Transportation Studies (UP NCTS), demonstrating the agency’s commitment to enhancing traffic management within the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Complex. 

NAMUR, Belgium — The University of Namur hosted a Philippine Studies Conference from 7 to 9 June, following a grant from the Philippine Government to celebrate and recognize the years of extensive research collaboration between Belgian and Filipino scholars. The conference highlighted the academic and research exchange between the University of Namur and UP Population Institute’s faculty, researchers, and graduate students. 

HONG KONG — The Development of a Filipinized Learning Management System (FLMS) project team, funded by the Emerging Interdisciplinary Research Program of the University of the Philippines System Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, participated in the International Conference on Open and Innovative Education at Hong Kong Metropolitan University on 5 July. 

QUEZON City — The Republic of Korea, represented by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Philippines, represented by the University of the Philippines (UP), are set to collaborate on a project that would strengthen science and technology adaptation in agriculture through the enhancement of genomics research and development in the country. 

ILOILO City — The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development –Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) and the University of the Philippines Visayas through the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanology (UPV-CFOS-IMFO) collaborated in organizing the second Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) convention from 29 to 30 June in Park Inn Hotel, Iloilo City
