HEEd 176 Adult and Out-Of-School Youth Education in Home Economics

Objective:

This course aims to develop in students the desire for community service outreach activities, while acquiring competencies in undertaking community-based training programs.

HEEd 176 is a practicum course which was introduced in 1988.


Duration / Date:

Sixteen hours of lecture and 96 hours of field work, usually offered during the second semester (January to May)


Target / Beneficiaries:

Adult and out-of-school youth in various underserved communities
