This training consists of forty (40) hours of basic course for dentists who are currently employed or wishing to be employed in occupational establishments. It aims to enable the participants to understand the standards and regulations specific to their work plan. It also aims to help them implement and evaluate oral health programs for their workplace, recognize and manage occupational hazards of importance to oral health, as well as implement an information system based on Department of Health standards.

Pinagtibay at ipinatupad sa UP noong 1989 ang isang Patakarang Pangwika na nagtatakda na Filipino ang maging pangunahing midyum ng pagtuturo. Binuo ang programang Aklatang Bayan para magsulat at maglimbag sa wikang Filipino ng mga aklat sa iba’t ibang disiplina. Layuning din nitong magbuo at maglathala ng mga teksbuk sa Filipino, tumugon sa kakulangan ng mga akademikong materyal na nasa Filipino, at makapaglathala ng makabuluhan at mahusay na mga teksbuk at mga babasahing aklat sa Filipino.

The general objective of this examination is to provide the participants a simulation of the Licensure Examination for Interior Design by the Professional Regulation Commission.

This service was first provided in the late 1990s and spurred by the dismal performance of takers in the ID Board Exam. The former dean challenged the faculty to improve the rating, hence the mock board exam.

The general objective of ID 179 is for students to acquire a clear understanding of the rigors of managing an actual interior design project, which include the programming phase to feedback and post-occupancy evaluation, marketing and project cost analysis. Furthermore, it aims to cultivate a deep appreciation for service learning through an organized project that can benefit any institution.

This short course aims to provide deeper understanding and knowledge of the environmental planning field, especially among planning practitioners, local development planning officers, and researchers. This also intends to serve as a refresher or review for those who are planning to take the Environmental Planning Licensure Exam.

These training classes that are offered to 3rd year agriculture students is an undertaking of a consortium named La Granja Research and Development Center (LGARDC). This consortium, of which the station is a member, is composed of four other agencies namely, the Sugar Regulatory Administration-La Granja Agricultural Research & Extension Center (SRA-LGAREC), the Bureau of Plant Industry-La Granja National Crop Research Development and Production Support Center (BPI-LGNCRDPSC), Department of Agriculture Negros Occidental Research Outreach Station (DA-NOROS) and the Philippine Carabao Center-La Carlota Stock Farm (PCC-LCSF). Since its establishment in the 1970’s, numerous agriculture students had benefitted from these trainings.
